Telepsychiatry
My practice is primarily focused on telepsychiatry (video appointments) to offer you and your family the most convenient, flexible, and comfortable care possible.
The Power of Telepsychiatry
Providing care via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform allows a child or adolescent to attend appointments from the comfort and privacy of their home. This format is effective for most diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment, eliminating travel time and minimizing disruption to your school and work schedules.
Occasional In-Person Visits
In addition to telepsychiatry, in-person visits may be beneficial for certain complex evaluations or to strengthen the therapeutic relationship. Please discuss your preference for in-person appointments with Dr. Baras during your initial consultation.
Get a Refill
During your visit I will provide you with prescriptions for a supply of medication adequate to last until our next recommended appointment time.
If you run out of medication this is an indication that you are due for an appointment and refills will not be processed until you have an appointment scheduled.
If you require a refill between appointments please allow one week for processing of your request.
Please request a refill from your pharmacy. You must speak with the pharmacy staff to request controlled substance prescriptions.
Insurance
I accept insurance from Premera, Aetna, Cigna, Quest Behavioral Health. Regence, Ambetter, Carelon, Oscar (Optum), United Healthcare (Optum), Oxford (Optum). Please confirm with your insurance carrier that my services are covered under your specific plan prior to scheduling. For out-of-network or self-pay patients, a superbill can be provided that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
